Dreamers

Dreamers

Four immigrants cross the border between Mexico and the United States hidden in the back of a truck. They have been travelling in the dark for days, exhausted and suspended between what they left behind and the life they hope to find on the other side.

Under the faint glow of a swinging light bulb, they begin to talk. They speak of their dreams, of the people they love and of the reasons that pushed them to risk everything to imagine a different future.

As the journey goes on, the distant sound of sirens draws closer and hope gives way to fear. When the truck finally stops, the light of the outside world bursts into the darkness, turning what they had waited for the whole journey into something suddenly uncertain.
